- 1. The above diagram shows the momentary allowable extraction load when anchor bolts of the lengths in the above table are embedded.
- 2.Concrete design standard strength Fe is given as 1.8kN/cm4 (18N/mm2).
- 3.When the various dimensions differ from the above diagram or the concrete design standard strength varies, the calculation shall be that of a solid foundation. However, anchor bolts installed on a floor slab upper surface shall not be able to bear an extraction load of more than 12.0kN each.
- 4. It is preferable to not use bolts with an embedded length less than in the column on the right.
- 5.Be sure to allow a buffer of approximately 10% in selection when Type 1 and Type 2 Lightweight Concrete are used.

However, anchor bolts installed on ceiling slab lower surfaces and concrete wall surfaces shall not be able to bear an extraction load of more than 8.0kN each.
- 4.It is preferable to not use bolts with an embedded length less than in the column on the right.
- 5.It is also necessary to consider the momentary extraction load due to earthquakes for heavy objects with supports on typical ceiling slab lower surfaces and concrete wall surfaces. With regard to this momentary extraction load, the momentary allowable extraction load in item b) must also be considered.
- 6.Be sure to allow a buffer of approximately 10% in selection when Type 1 and Type 2 Lightweight Concrete are used.
