The Tozen EDRV is a high-performance hydraulic float valve designed to automatically control the liquid level in water tanks, reservoirs, and towers. By utilizing a pilot-operated mechanism, this valve ensures a constant water level, preventing overflow and maintaining a steady supply for distribution systems.
Engineered for durability, the EDRV features a body and bonnet constructed from Ductile Iron. This material choice provides superior structural integrity and pressure resistance compared to standard cast iron. To protect against environmental corrosion, the valve is finished with a high-quality protective coating, making it suitable for damp or outdoor installations.
The valve operates on a hydraulic principle, using the pressure of the flowing media to manage opening and closing cycles. When the water level drops, the float ball descends, opening the pilot valve and reducing pressure in the control chamber. This allows the inlet pressure to lift the main valve disc, facilitating tank refill. Conversely, once the desired level is reached, the rising float closes the pilot valve, increasing chamber pressure to shut the main valve securely.
Tozen EDRV valves are available in a wide range of sizes to suit various piping requirements, from DN50 (2″) to DN400 (16″). They are built to handle significant operational demands, supporting pressure ratings of PN16 (16 bar) and PN25 (25 bar). The flanged connections comply with the GB/T17241 PN16/PN25 standard, ensuring compatibility with international industrial piping.
Each valve undergoes rigorous factory testing to ensure safety and leak-free performance. This includes a shell test at 1.5 times the working pressure and a seat test at 1.1 times the working pressure. The design allows for easy maintenance as internal components can be accessed without removing the entire valve body from the pipeline. Depending on the valve size, the float arm length ranges from 485 mm to 684 mm, providing flexible level control.
Fire Protection Systems: Managing water reserves in suction tanks or ground tanks.
High-Rise Buildings: Automating the filling of roof-level storage tanks.
Water Treatment Plants (WTP): Maintaining constant levels in filtration or sedimentation basins.
Industrial Process Water: Ensuring consistent water availability for manufacturing processes without manual intervention.
With its combination of rugged Ductile Iron construction, precise hydraulic control, and a comprehensive size range, the Tozen EDRV is a reliable solution for efficient water management across commercial and industrial sectors.
